The definition of "Basementy"

Image
Omaha's Basement Guys on www.RadiOmaha.com   are 2 old friends that share great music you don't hear everyday.  Basementy describes music, clothing, tv shows and movies that are popular among pot smokers and the under employed. Hank and Mike grew up hanging out in the basement,  listening to  albums and being young kids. We believe "basementy" is a word that describes an adolescent mentality, silly humor, rock and roll music and  unusual stuff you don't see everyday.  When you visit our Face Book page , you will see good music clips, funny memes and cool stuff you might have missed on the internet! Really a cool time killer that is not political, crude, (well...  not very crude) or hateful. We love Omaha and  promote  local musicians and artists.  Come listen to our Podcasts han g out and be Basementy with us! Give us a call at 402-444-TALK

Our show is a great way to kill a couple hours while at work, or when you are  listening from your home or car.  Try it You'll Like it! check out our latest Podcast here .  Visit and like us on Face Book too!   Call us at 444-TALK www.RadiOmaha.com is a great station that plays a wide variety of music with great local talent like Dive Dan, Rick Galusha,  Glenn Bauer, and of course Omaha's own The Basement Guys!

Resist The Basement Guys Ban on RadiOmaha

Image
I am sure that by now you have heard that  www.RadiOmaha.com  BANNED The Basement Guys last week, and thanks to the protesters, we are back on the air in Full Force! We want to thank all that wrote Rick Galusha, Diver Dan, Glenn Bauer (Livin the Blues) and others to make your statement that The Basement Guys are needed on RadiOmaha ! We don't need no stinking suit wearing people from the establishment to tell us what we can't say on our show!  We will continue to have fun while we listen to great music and talk about life and music in Omaha Nebraska. We promote artists, small business, music events and anything Basementy.  Listen to our newest podcast here.  The Basement Guys

Jocelyn Music visits The Basement Guys

Image
Hank and Mike, RadiOmaha's Basement Guys had the  privileged to interview Jocelyn recently.  The interview is relaxed and fun, she plays for us, shares personal stories about growing up in Omaha and the  adventure she is having building her music career.  Jocelyn is an old soul that believes love is the answer for most of the problems in this world. Her message can be heard in the songs she writes like "Don't be a slave to the hate" and  "Just like everybody else" Jocelyn recently played Whiskey a Go Go in L.A. and she shares that big plans are in the future.  She even got us to sing along with her on a song she sang for us in The Basement. (our apologies to all) Listen to the interview of this budding talent  here . See more photos from the interview here
